BTS' Jungkook has reached a significant milestone by becoming the highest-ranking Korean artist on the United States Chartmetric Foreign Artists Chart as of January 24, 2025. Securing the 23rd spot, he has even surpassed his own group, BTS, to claim the title of the #1 Korean artist in the U.S.

Additionally, the BTS member is the only K-soloist featured on the UK Chartmetric Foreign Artists Chart, where he currently holds the 26th spot. He joins the ranks of globally celebrated stars like Adele, Celine Dion, and One Direction on these charts.

Jungkook showcases dominance over the US music market

BTS’ Jungkook fans have coined the term “Koomerica,” blending his name with "America" to honor his popularity in the US. This nickname highlights his growing influence and record-breaking achievements, which have solidified his position as the most successful K-pop artist in the US, according to Chartmetric.

Chartmetric, a music industry data analytics platform, provides insights and trends across various music platforms and social media, helping artists and professionals track performance. According to the platform's latest rankings, the idol has surpassed not only his group, BTS, but also other prominent K-pop acts like Stray Kids.

One of the idol's most recent accomplishments is the resurgence of his track Dreamers. Despite being released two years ago, the song climbed to #2 on YouTube’s US Daily Top Music Videos Chart, surpassing Bruno Mars and Rosé’s “APT.” at #3. Meanwhile, his track Seven has re-peaked at #1 on Apple Music US’s K-pop Genre chart, over a year after its release.

Meanwhile, his debut solo album, GOLDEN, continues to perform strongly, charting at #128 on Apple Music’s US Pop Albums chart for 447 consecutive days.

In recent updates, Jungkook shared a video featuring his pet dog, Bam, hinting at their reunion during a break from his mandatory military service. The clip, posted on Bam’s Instagram account @bowwow_bam, shows him training the playful dog using a bone.

These milestones and moments have reinforced Jungkook's connection with fans, who await his return from the military.
