"OUR TAEJIN CRUMBS" — Fans in awe as BTS' Jin credits Taehyung for his first memory with Gucci

On September 23, 2024, W KOREA released two new Instagram reels featuring BTS' Kim Seokjin. In one of the clips, the Grammy-nominated South Korean musician could be seen talking about his first memory of Gucci and how fashion has been an integral part of his life as a musician.

The artist recalled how his bandmate, Kim Taehyung, aka V, once gifted him something from Gucci, which became an important memory for Jin. He said:

"Fashion and music are inseparable, in my opinion. Our music always involves performing on stage, and fashion is what helps us stand out during those performances. My first-ever memory with Gucci? Well, there's a member of our group named V, and he once gave me Gucci as a birthday gift. So, that might have been my first memory with Gucci."

Continuing on the same chain of thought, the Epiphany singer-songwriter described his attire. Wearing pieces from Sabato De Sarno's latest collection, like the knit sweater that was iridescent and had shades of deep maroon, orange, and purple. The BTS idol said:

"Today, I’m wearing a flashy knit and well-tailored pants. I also layered two necklaces. I went with a brown tone overall, which I think suits me quite well, right? Thank you. As I watch Sabato De Sarno's collection this time, I hope that his success and my style come together for even better outcomes in the future. I look forward to enjoying this collection."

Notably, the videos were filmed on September 20, 2024, before he left to attend the Gucci Spring Summer 2025 presentation at the Milan Fashion Week. The videos went viral online as fans praised the BTS idol for his visage. One fan on X wrote:

Fans lauded the K-pop sensation for giving a shoutout to his bandmate and friend, Kim Taehyung.

BTS' Jin becomes most mentioned celebrity at Milan Fashion Week with over 5 million mentions

The official account of the World Music Awards reported that BTS' Kim Seokjin became the most mentioned celebrity at the Milan Fashion Week. The idol attended Gucci's Spring/Summer 2025 collection presentation as the Italian brand's newest global ambassador on September 20, 2024.

He was seen sitting between Madam Web actress Dakota Johnson and the CEO of Kering Groups and owner of Gucci, François-Henri Pinault. The idol was also seen mingling with Thai actor Gulf Kanawut, posing for paparazzi with Dakota Johnson, and more.

Reportedly, thousands of BTS ARMY showed up in front of the show's venue, Triennale di Milano, on September 20. Fans were seen wearing purple T-shirts, carrying cutouts of the BTS idols along with placards with his face.
