BIGHIT MUSIC (now HYBE Labels) recently dropped the official teaser of BTS Kim Seok-jin's upcoming variety show, RUN JIN. The teaser titled "[RUN JIN] EP.0-1 Road of Hardship Paved by JIN" was released on the band's official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV on July 30, 2024.
The show's first episode will be aired on August 13, 2024, with new episodes being aired every Tuesday. For the unversed, the Epiphany singer-songwriter was discharged from the South Korean military on June 12, 2024. Since then he was reported to have been working on several Korean variety show projects, including his own self-produced show.
Earlier, on July 8, he was spotted filming at his alma mater, Posung High School. Additionally, he was also spotted filming on Hallasan Mountain. However, the show's name wasn't revealed until now. In the latest teaser, the BTS idol revealed going on a trek on the Hallasan Mountain in Jeju Island.

BTS ARMY flooded social media platform X by trending the "RUN JIN" hashtag worldwide. They expressed their excitement about two of the septet's reality shows that will be aired in August 2024.
"Tuesdays are for Run Jin and Thursdays are for ‘Are You Sure?!’" one fan wrote.

Fans were happy and appreciative of the band for making so much material and filming despite six of the seven members being in the military.

In the teaser, the Epiphany singer-songwriter got in the car right after meeting his fans on June 13, 2024, at the Jamsil Arena. He said that he would push through fatigue and continue to provide material for his followers as long as they were happy. He revealed going to Hallasan Mountain to film the upcoming show's first episode.
The new show will chronicle the travels and experiences of the BTS idol as he explores new adventures. The forthcoming show will showcase the singer-songwriter's raw side and promises plenty of pleasant moments and laughter.
For the unversed, the eldest member of BTS enlisted on December 13, 2022, and served in the military till June 12, 2024. Before his mandatory conscription, he released his first and only solo single, The Astronaut, in collaboration with Coldplay.
After his discharge, the BTS singer-songwriter held his first-ever solo fan meeting at Jamsil Arena on June 13, 2024, to celebrate BTS' 11th anniversary with his fans. Additionally, he was announced as the first-ever Global Ambassador of the luxury jewelry brand, FRED, on July 8, 2024.
The same day he was spotted filming at Posung High School, wearing the school uniform and carrying a yellow umbrella.
After that, he was also selected by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as one of the honorable torchbearers for the 2024 Paris Olympics Torch Relay.
