“Our Voice Our Shoulder” trends on X as ARMYS sends BTS' RM birthday wishes

BTS' RM will turn 30 on Thursday, September 12, 2024, and the BTS ARMYs are excited about his birthday. They took to X to share thoughtful messages and birthday wishes to the idol, as they also started trending "Our Voice Our Shoulder" on the social media platform.

BTS' RM, who was born in Dongjak district in Seoul, South Korea, is currently serving in the South Korean military as part of the mandatory military service. The boyband's leader is also a record producer, songwriter, and rapper, who has millions of fans across the world.

BigHit Music, the South Korean record label that manages BTS, also took to X to wish RM on his birthday. They shared a childhood picture of him wearing a white Mickey Mouse t-shirt and black pants, along with a yellow cap. In the caption of this post, the record label wrote, "0912, Congratulations, Happy RM Day."

The BTS fandom, ARMYs, trended phrases about the rapper and shared several snippets of themselves celebrating his birthday. They used phrases like #30YearsofJooniverse, #OurRightPlaceRM, #OurHeavenRM #LostinNamjoon, #HangingTightforNamjoon, #HappyNamjoonDay with "Our Voice Our Shoulder."

Fans wished Kim Namjoon great success as they prayed for his safety and health. While many called him the "sweetest man ever," others claimed that September 12 was a special day since BTS' RM was born on that day.

As they wished Kim Namjoon on his birthday, fans claimed that they were waiting for 2025, so they could see the rapper again.

BTS' RM will release his solo documentary

BTS' RM's solo documentary RM: Right People, Wrong Place will have its first screening at the 29th Busan International Film Festival, which is set to run from October 2, 2024, to October 11, 2024. Lee Seok-joon directed the documentary, which will be featured in the Open Cinema section due to the documentary's artistic significance.

According to the website @rmrpwp.com, the upcoming solo documentary will shed light on Kim Namjoon's personality as an artist and an individual.

"The documentary follows the journey of RM, the leader of 21st-century pop icons BTS, as he explores his true self—both as Kim Namjoon, the artist and as an individual."

Kim Namjoon recently collaborated with American singer and songwriter Megan Thee Stallion for the track, Neva Play, released on September 6, 2024.

ARMYs were also excited as the male artist is reported to be discharged from the mandatory military service on June 10, 2025. RM began mandatory military service on December 11, 2023, alongside group member Kim Taehyung and is currently deployed to the 15th Infantry Division to conclude his service.
