On Wednesday, August 28, South Korean media outlet Naver reported that a popular Korean actor Park Bo-gum injured his leg while filming his upcoming JBTC drama, titled Good Boy. The actor was shooting in Busan when he suffered an injury. Park Bo-gum was urgently brought back to Seoul for his treatment. He was admitted to the hospital and his treatment is underway.
Park Bo-gum’s agency, THE BLACK LABEL, responded to the news report and stated that the actor filmed an action sequence for Good Boy in Busan on August 28. While shooting, the actor sustained a slight injury to his leg. Currently, the production of the comic action drama has been halted.
The activity will recommence upon the completion of the actor's health assessment and therapy. Hospitalization may be necessary depending on the outcome of the test results.
JBTC’s Good Boy features Park Bo-gum and Kim So-hyun in the lead roles
The JBTC’s action comedy show Good Boy is anticipated to premiere in the coming months of 2024. The release schedule can be pushed due to Park Bo-gum’s injury, however, there's no update on the same yet. Containing a total of 16 episodes, the series will potentially air on Saturdays and Sundays on JTBC.
Good Boy is an action-comedy detective drama that follows individuals who were once sporting medalists and have now become police officers. The show depicts a battle against a world where unruly and corrupt individuals hold power.

One of the famous faces in the Korean entertainment industry, the actor was last seen in a sci-fi romantic movie titled Wonderland, opposite Bae Suzy. The movie is currently streaming on Netflix.
