Ten Asia reported on July 25 that Park Bo-young would feature in the drama Unknown Seoul, which is being produced by Monster Union. The actress will play two characters in this project, which will significantly alter her acting style. The release date and other details related to the drama have not been revealed yet.
In the upcoming drama, she will reportedly play twin sisters. An abrupt shift in circumstances causes them to switch lives. One of them excels in school and lives in Seoul, while the other lives in the countryside.

The narrative features two sisters. One lives in the countryside, and the other is a student in Seoul. A dramatic change in their surroundings leads them to a decision to swap lives. The story follows their journey as they figure out their new lives. Following the reports on her new drama, her agency BH Entertainment released a statement to Newsen on July 25. They shared:
"Park Bo Young received an offer to star in the drama 'Unknown Seoul', and she's positively reviewing the offer."

The actress became well-known in 2012 after the South Korean film A Warewolf Boy became a box office triumph. With Park Hyung-sik in the drama Strong Woman Bong Soon in 2017, she became a global celebrity.
Furthermore, on July 19, at the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards in Paradise City, Incheon, Park Bo-young was awarded the Best Actress Award for her role in Daily Dose of Sunshine. In the drama, she portrays Jung Eun, a third-year nurse who is moved from the Internal Medicine department to the Psychiatric unit.

She is currently working on is Melo Movie, which explores the lives of young people who are accustomed to maintaining a false front when faced with adversity. The story depicts how these days, despite their desire to find love and achieve their goals, they are worn out and depleted by the unrelenting struggles they face.
Bo-young will portray Kim Mu-bee, a curious person who enters the film business because of her love-hate connection with her father, who values films more than his own life.
Park Bo-young is also set to appear in Light Shop by author Kang Full, based on his popular webtoon of the same name. Light Shop is based on the stories of the living and the dead whose worlds intersect through a mysterious shop that sells lamps.
