tvN's legal drama Parole Examiner Lee premiered on November 18, 2024, at 8:50 PM KST. Directed by Yoon Sang-ho and written by Park Chi-hyung, the series explores corruption and moral dilemmas in the judicial system.
Go Soo stars as Lee Han-shin, a principled parole judge facing systemic corruption. Baek Ji-won plays Choi Hwa-ran, a ruthless loan tycoon, while Girls' Generation's Yuri portrays Ahn Seo-yun, a skilled detective. Lee Hak-joo takes on the role of Ji Myung-seob, a privileged chaebol heir and main antagonist.

Episode 10 of Parole Examiner Lee starts with the news about Dong-man leaving prison without supervision. After Lee exposes Dong-man, it makes it impossible for him to add his name to the parole list. With a reporter on his side, he helps spread the story.
Lee visits Hwa-ran in the hospital. After pretending to have lost her will to fight back against Ji Dong-man, Hwa-ran makes fun of Lee for believing her and wants to join in to bring down Dong-man.
Dong-hoon is called by Dong-man who yells at him and asks him to leave. Warden Bae eavesdrops on Dong-man and finds that he plans to hurt Su-beom. Now on Lee's side, he informs Lee of the same. Won-mi, on the other hand, is enjoying seeing Dong-man in this situation and is prepared to fight back after finding the video she recorded of him when they were married.
In this episode of Parole Examiner Lee, Seo-yun brings the evidence against Myung-seob to show to Lee. Lee promises to help with whatever she plans to do. Meanwhile, Myung-seob plans a press conference to apologize to the people for Dong-man's deeds.
While Lee is planning to trap Jeong-wook with Seo-yun, Hwa-ran shows up. As Lee gets up to leave to handle some business, Hwa-ran tells him it has been taken care of. After hearing about Su-beom from Ji-soon she had made sure he was safe in the Jeoksong prison. She pours a glass for the two of them to celebrate their resolve.
Myung-seop reaches the press conference location and checks if the arrangements have been made correctly. He plans to portray himself as the new leader of Ojung group. Reporter Woo informs Lee about the upcoming press conference.
Director Jeong-wook meets Ji Dong-man to discuss halting Su-beom's parole. Later, Warden Bae informs him that the Chairman plans to reward him with company stocks but requires him to invest a large sum immediately. Bae connects him with Hwa-ran for the loan, who then hacks Jeong-wook's account.
Meanwhile, Ji-soon infiltrates a press conference with Reporter Woo's help and updates Seo-yun. During a meeting, Eung-jun learns about the press conference and rushes to it.While Myung-seob is giving his speech, the video of Da-yun's murder and his asking Eung-jun to clean the mess is played on the screen behind him. Just then, Seo-yun shows up and arrests both Myung-seob and Eung-jun.
Director Jeong's account is emptied and he is taken to Hwa-ran's office. Here, Lee and Hwa-ran convince him to give Su-beom a qualified review after luring him with money. Seeing Myung-seob's video on the TV, Won-mi realises that the video she has of Dong-man yelling at Myung-seob is of the day he killed Da-yun.
Lee praises Ji-soon for playing the video at the press conference before heading to the parole review. Ji-soon convinces Dong-hoon to stay longer at the sauna, where Hwa-ran's men prevent him from leaving.
During Cheon Su-beom's parole review, Lee is barred from giving his opinion due to a potential conflict of interest. Su-beom receives a qualified review with two approvals and one disqualification, as Director Jeong-wook sides with Lee for Hwa-ran's promised 10 billion won.
However, Lee is arrested by the police for violating Narcotics Control Act. With this episode 10 of Parole Examiner Lee ends.
