While coming out of the police station, Seo-yun is asked to mind her own business when she tries to find out why Lee was arrested previously. She is also suspended for partnering with Hwa-ran.
Ji Dong-man asks Myung-seob if he killed Jeong-gyun. He also asks him to resign and go overseas. Then, Myung-seop falls to his feet, crying and begging to let him stay in the country. Dong-man also gets Jeong-wook arrested for letting Su-beom get parole.
Lee and Park Jin-cheol are arrested for the abuse of authority in the parole of Su-beom. Furthermore, Lee's arrest is broadcasted on the news as a corrupt officer, and people paid by the Ojung group gather to protest against Lee.
Myung-seob shows up at Won-mi's house and searches for the video that he believes she took on the day he committed the murder. Even after checking her belongings and threatening her, he does not find it and leaves. Meanwhile, with the help of Ji-mok, Seo-yun speaks to Lee, who asks her not to overdo anything since Dong-man may try to hurt her.
Ji Dong-man recalls the time when he covered up a fistfight for Myung-seob when he was just a child, shedding a tear. On the other hand, Lee is taken to the detention center, while Seo-yun brings Su-beom to Lee's office.
Lee's plan is for Su-beom to file for a retrial, to shake up the Ojung group and shift public opinion to their side. However, Seo-yun informs Hwa-ran and Su-beom that Ji Dong-man and Eung-jun have already been released.
In this episode of Parole Examiner Lee, after getting a special pardon, Dong-man pays Lee a visit and tells him that he will not be able to leave prison. Lee responds by saying that things will not go as planned by Dong-man, to which the latter laughs.
Lee had already predicted being arrested and had discussed this with Su-beom. Since Dong-man framed him in a manner similar to Su-beom, they shall use that against him. Meanwhile, Hwa-ran promises to keep Su-beom's family safe as he stands up against the Ojung group.
Ji Dong-man goes back to his office and slaps Dong-hoon for not doing anything about Myung-seob's antics. He then visits Myung-seob and reprimands him for drinking and not being better.

In episode 11 of Parole Examiner Lee, Dong-hoon tells him that Warden Bae has stopped taking the calls, presumably because he decided to side with Lee. Jeong-wook, who was also supposed to help with Su-beom's retrial, is in prison. Additionally, because of Hwa-ran, he has decided to betray them as well.
The Inspection Department then takes the captain of the Metropolitan Investigation Unit after they get a report about him taking bribes. Seo-yun, who had filed the report, had also recorded him receiving the watch.
After being frustrated with Dong-man and Myung-seob, Dong-hoon suggests to Warden Bae that Han-seong should properly betray the Ojung group if he has already decided to go down that path. He then shows up at the police station to testify and reveal everything about how Su-beom was framed.
