BTS’ Jin sat for an interview with Vogue Japan sharing comments about work pressure without fellow group members, future goals, his source of happiness, and more. On Thursday, October 24, 2024, Vogue Japan published an interview with Jin, opening up about the most significant thing in his life which was happiness. Notably, his upcoming album is titled Happy and he revealed that he finds true happiness through his fans, commonly called ARMYs.

The Moon singer said,

“The thing I put the most importance on in life is happiness. The people who make me happy are my fans, the ARMY ( BTS Fandom). If I can make ARMY happy, they'll make me happy. I need to keep going for them (laughs).”

Jin further opened up about his future goals which involve not only the BTS members but also the fans.

He said,

“It's my dream to make ARMY members happy. So as long as they're happy, I can work until I'm exhausted. I am currently in the process of realizing that dream.”

BTS’ Jin opens up about the pressure of working on his solo album without his bandmates

On October 24, Vogue Japan released an interview with BTS’ Jin who is gearing up for his first solo album Happy's release which is scheduled for November 15, 2024. This is one of the most awaited albums in the K-pop music scene as he is the only member of BTS who is yet to release a solo album.

In his recent interview, Jin revealed the difference in working on a solo project without BTS members.

He said,

“When I work solo I have to do everything by myself. So I have a lot of freedom and can do what I want, but at the same time, I also feel a sense of pressure. In the group, even if I'm lacking in some areas I'm pedestrianized because the members are there with me, so I'm more relaxed.”

As Vogue Japan marked its 25th anniversary, they asked Jin to advise his younger self. He shared that when he was 25 years old he used to complain about work and that he would like to tell his younger self that worrying would not change anything. However, he also believes that his advice would not have made any difference.

He said,

"Honestly, I don't think it would have made a difference. As I've gotten older, my mindset has naturally changed. I'm sure that 10 years from now, I'll probably want to give my current self a talking-to as well (laughs).”
