On Tuesday, January 7, EXO's D.O. made a guest appearance on Na PD's latest YouTube livestream. The K-pop idol and soloist discussed many things during the stream, especially his solo career. When Na PD asked if there was any solo album in the making, the idol replied that he hadn't been preparing much on an album recently.

While he explained that he has a lot of fun creating an album and working on the genres he's interested in, there aren't any solid releases to talk about as of yet. However, he added that there's something else lined up as a solo release from him. He expressed that he's been keeping it a secret from fans for a while and can finally talk about it as the release is around the corner.

"And there's one more thing. No, I probably can talk about it, but I've been keeping it a secret actually... there's something I'd like to say here...Eoh... a single is coming out. Only a few days left. I've been consistently preparing for it~ and it's winter, right? Because it's winter, I prepared a warm song that fits the season"

When the idol began to spoil the upcoming Winter release during the YouTube livestream, Na PD began to freak out as he was unsure whether the release news could be revealed before the official announcements. EXO's D.O. or Doh Kyung-soo is a 31-year-old South Korean singer and actor, who debuted under SM Entertainment in 2012 alongside his fellow K-pop boy group members. In addition to his activities as an EXO member, the idol has a well-established solo career in acting and music.

He made his solo debut in 2021 with the release of his first EP, Empathy. He released another EP called Expectation in 2023, and most recently, in May 2024, he rolled out his third EP, Blossom. All the albums were well-received by fans and netizens, and the tracks were particularly commended for the vocal abilities executed by the idol.

On the other hand, he's also been successful in his acting career. His debut was in 2012 with his cameo in the second episode of the K-drama series, To the Beautiful You.
