On January 11, 2025, PocketDol Studio, home to Jeon Min-wook & Sakurada Kenshin, announced filing a missing person report after being out of contact with them. Jeon Min-wook and Sakaruda Kenshin participated in survival show Project 7 which formed the group CLOSE YOUR EYES under UNCORE.

Notably, Jeon Min-wook and Sakaruda Kenshin are originally signed under PocketDol Studio, and are now a part of UNCORE as well as they were announced as members of the seven-member boy group. According to Xports New, PocketDol Studio claimed that UNCORE blocked Jeon Min-wook and Sakaruda Kenshin from contacting them.

They also reportedly did not disclose the location of the idols with their agencies and rejected PocketDol Studio's requests to get in touch with them. This led them to file a missing person report with the police in search of Jeon Min-wook and Sakaruda Kenshin as guardians on January 8, 2025.

They also claimed that UNCORE deceived the police dispatched in search of the idols by claiming that they were with their parents. Notably, Sakaruda Kenshin is a minor. They said,

“We repeatedly expressed our desire to contact them to find out their whereabouts, but they continued to ignore us, and since we are also acting as guardians for Kenshin Sakurada, who is a minor, we reported them missing to the police on the 8th to check their safety.”

PocketDol Studio denies UNCORE's allegations of breaching contract terms regarding CLOSE YOUR EYES’ Jeon Min-wook & Sakaruda Kenshin’s concurrent activities.

On January 10, UNCORE made a statement on their official social media, seemingly sending a warning to a CLOSE YOUR EYES’ member's agency for holding concurrent activities with them. They, however, did not mention the name of the idol or the agency in the statement.

UNCORE accused them of breaching a contract term stating that it was not permissible to hold activities apart for CLOSE YOUR EYES with their original agency or a third party. They also stated that they would resort to legal action if they continued to do so.

UNCORE stated,

“A specific agency has been attempting to organize domestic and international events that go against the terms of the participation contract after it was signed. Furthermore, the agency has unilaterally claimed that their artists would engage in activities with a separate group alongside the "CLOSE YOUR EYES" project group.”

Jeon Min-wook is a member of BAE173, under PocketDol Studio, who participated in the Project 7 survival program to debut in their new group. Meanwhile, Sakurada Kenshin was a trainee idol under PocketDol Studio.

On January 11, 2025, PocketDol Studio refuted UNCORE’s claims, stating,

“When they appeared on 'Project 7,' we signed an appearance contract with the production team that stated that they would pursue concurrent activities if the final selections were confirmed.”

PocketDol Studio further explained that they have planned activities for BAE173 in 2025, and they believed that J-Min would do activities with both groups. They said,

“They enticed us to appear in 'Project 7' by saying that we could do parallel activities, but after we were selected as the debut group, they changed their statement to say that parallel activities were impossible. If they continue to not acknowledge the matter, we intend to release the contract and emails exchanged between them. We plan to take all possible legal action.”

Meanwhile, CLOSE YOUR EYES is a K-pop boy group formed on JTBC's survival show Project 7 on December 27. The group has seven members: Ma JingXiang, Sakurada Kenshin, Jeon Min-wook, Seo Kyoung-bae, Song Seung-ho, Jang Yeo-jun, and Kim Sung-min, who emerged as the winners of the show. The group recently performed at the 2025 Golden Disc Awards on January 4, 2025.
