On December 12, 2024, radio jockey Abdulla Al Bkoor shared a clip from Kuwait's Marina FM, highlighting BTS' Jimin's song WHO. The host praised Jimin's achievements, including Spotify chart success, Busan donations, and the Los Angeles exhibition, making fans proud.

He added, as translated by X user @JiminGlobal:

"The artist who topped the most streamed K-pop song in 2024 with WHO and his great role in humanity."

For those unversed, BTS' Jimin dropped WHO on July 19, 2024. It was the leading single for the second studio album Muse through BigHit Music. The record featured seven tracks, including Rebirth (Intro), Interlude: Showtime, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (featuring Loco), Slow Dance (featuring Sofia Carson), Be Mine, Who, and Closer Than This.

Subsequently, the latest clip featuring WHO playing at the first private FM of Kuwait circulated on social media and went viral among the fandom. An X user tweeted:

"Pride of South Korea."

The fandom showered praise on BTS' Jimin and requested the jockey to play his track again in the show.

"Damn you so right 2024 it's jimin year on every platform. And hell yeah his exhibition in Los Angeles was no.1 best selling events,"- a fan reacted.
"As always only Jimin,"- a fan commented.
"He is the king please play who more in your show,"- a fan mentioned.

The internet users talked about Jimin's latest album and added that he was talented with talents.

"Hello, Jimin really excelled in this album.. and it is truly the song of the year.. There is not a single word to describe Jimin, but all I can say is: (Elegant),"- a user reacted.
"Jimin rules every corner of world with music, charity, donations,"- a user shared.
"Jimin is a talented, diverse artist who likes to try everything new. His songs are internationally successful. He has a large fan base all over the world. We will not forget his achievements this year as he enlisted without promotions or offers,"- a user commented.

BTS' Jimin was featured in latest travel show

BTS' Jimin was featured in the South Korean travel variety program Are You Sure?! alongside fellow bandmate Jungkook. The duo explored multiple places, including Japan, the United States, and South Korea, in different seasons. They embarked on an unprecedented trip with no concrete plans.

The program, featuring eight episodes, was aired through the American streaming platform Disney+. It premiered on August 8, 2024, and ran till September 11, 2024. In recent news, the artist's track WHO ranked at the No.32 position on Billboard Hot 100, and it remained the longest-charting song of 2024 by a K-act.


The K-pop idol was enlisted for mandatory military service on December 12, 2023, with fellow bandmate Jungkook. He is expected to be discharged in June 2025.
