Single's Inferno 4 hit with backlash due to alleged double standard portrayals of two female contestants swinging while being drunk. In the first week of the Netflix dating show, a clip where Chung You-jin was seen enjoying herself on the swing while she was a bit tipsy went viral on social media.
According to the clip, she was swinging very fast and the camera angle only captured from an area where only her head was visible. Chung You-jin's fellow contestants' reaction towards her at the moment was perceived to be ridiculing her. Furthermore, panelist Han-hae mentioned that he found the scene to be a bit “creepy”, with others agreeing with his thoughts.
Meanwhile, in the second week's airing of Single's Inferno 4, another female contestant Lee Si-an was seen swinging in the same spot while she was also intoxicated. Fans have called out the production team for allegedly depicting Chung You-jin in a bad light. This is because the angle where Lee Si-an is visible showcased her sitting on the swing, giving the full view of the area from the backside.

Single's Inferno 4: about Lee Si-an and Chung You-jin’s connections
In the first episode of Single's Inferno 4, Lee Si-an matched with Kim Jeong-su for a paradise date. The next day she became a match for Jang Theo and the two enjoyed a date at the paradise. After returning, Lee Si-an was unable to forget glimpses of her date with Kim Jeong-su even after enjoying it with Jang Theo.
In Single's Inferno 4 episode 5, Lee Si-an appeared to be torn between Jang Theo and Kim Jeong-su, adding to this, she matched with newcomer An Jong-hoon for a date. Later, Yuk Jun-seo also showed his interest in getting to know her better. By the end of Single's Inferno 4 episode 6, Lee Si-an received couple-tickets from An Jong-hoon, Jang Theo, Kim Jeong-su, and Yuk Jun-seo. She decided to go on a date with Yuk Jun-seo.
On the other hand, Chung You-jin became the first female contestant to go to paradise with Yuk Jun-seo in the pilot episode of Single's Inferno 4. The next day, Yuk Jun-seo matched with Kim Min-seol for a date and after they returned to the inferno, Chung You-jin seemed awkward as she perceived that the two had grown closer to each other.
She could not bring herself to converse with Yuk Jun-seo. As the show progressed, her interest in Kook Dong-ho increased and she picked him for a paradise date. However, they were not a match.
