"QOT, you will always be famous!"- Queen of Tears fans go gaga as BTS' Jin reveals his favourite scene from the drama

In a recent interview with W Korea released on July 15, Jin of BTS revealed which scene of Queen of Tears, he enjoyed watching. The show fans were delighted to know that the K-pop idol watched the popular drama that starred Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won.

While he could not catch the drama when it started to broadcast, he did catch up later and have a favorite scene from it. The part he spoke about is where Kim Soo-hyun's character Baek Hyun-woo is confused and starts picking flower petals while questioning, if his wife Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won), likes him or not.

The story of the drama revolves around chaebol heiress Hong Hae-in, her husband, and the conglomerate's legal director, Baek Hyun-woo. While navigating through Hae-in's terminal illness, the two rekindle their estranged relationship with each other in Queen of Tears. While in the interview, Jin said:

"The drama I enjoyed the most these days is.. I didn't see it from the beginning. I watched The Queen of Tears. It was nice to see Kim Soohyun sunbae-nim holding a petal and saying "like it, don't like it." It was cool."

Meanwhile, fans couldn't hold back their excitement at knowing that the BTS members also liked the K-drama. They reveled in the fact that the show continues to garner attention, even after its conclusion.

"QOT, you will always be famous!!!" said one fan.

"Omg I knew it !! i knew he'd watch Queen of tears. the way he says Kim Soohyun Sunbaenim how I wished for them to meet, one my fav k actor and the other my fav k singer," another fan said.

Even the fans who haven't watched the show wondered if they should catch up with it as well.

"I don't watch Queen of Tears, maybe I should now since Jin watched it," one fan said.

Jin becomes the torch-bearer for the 2024 Paris Olympics

Jin was discharged from his military duties in June and has started working on various activities, including his solo album. He revealed in the W Korea interview that he is actively working on the album and will be featuring in variety shows as well. Additionally, he has been confirmed to star in the show The Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island.

Recently, he was assigned to be the torch-bearer for the Country of South Korea in the 2024 Paris Olympics. As the audience applauded him, the singer was spotted bringing the Olympic flame to the Louvre Pyramid Museum in Paris on July 14, 2024. Making him the first K-pop idol to carry the Olympic Torch overseas.
