IVE vocalist Jang Wonyoung is all over social media for her latest airport look, that has had the netizens speculate if she jabbed the controversial YouTuber Sojang. On September 24, Starship Entertainment girl group IVE was spotted at the Gimpo International Airport on their way to Tokyo, Japan.
In particular, Wonyoung stole the spotlight with her outfit, as she was seen wearing a pink polo t-shirt and a white ruffle mini skirt. Jang Wonyoung wore black shades with black shoes and long gray socks to complete her look. South Korean netizens quickly noticed a similarity between her outfit to YouTuber Sojang's look from a viral video.
For the unversed, Youtuber Sojang was accused of defaming several K-pop artists including Jang Wonyoung, using false information through her YouTube videos. Back in May 2024, a video of Sojang being chased by reporters went viral on social media where she wore a similar pink shirt and white skirt.

Notably, the IVE member filed a lawsuit against her and won the trial where Sojang was penalized and had to pay 100 million KRW to Jang Wonyoung. As the clips and videos of Jang Wonyoung at the airport started to circulate online, netizens speculated that the K-pop idol mocked Sojang with this look and many praised her for the same. Fans also shared their thoughts online about the outfit she donned at the airport.

According to Korea JoongAng Daily, the YouTuber named Park, anonymously ran a YouTube channel named Sojang. She had spread several rumors about Jang Wonyoung including that she had a love affair with a male idol.
In October 2023, Jang Wonyoung and Starship Entertainment filed separate civil lawsuits against the YouTuber, as she did not respond to the legal case. The court ordered her to pay 100 million KRW to the IVE member.
Other K-pop artists like Kang Daniel, BTS’ V and Jungkook, EXO's leader Suho, aespa, and many more have reportedly taken legal action against Sojang as well.
