Currently, people in South Korea are holding rallies to protest the impeachment of South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol.
This was due to the martial law that the president declared earlier. While the first impeachment vote failed against the South Korean president, South Korean citizens have been protesting for a second impeachment vote to take place. Therefore, IU and EDAM Entertainment showcased support for the protestors through their recent statement along with the food and hot packs.
