On December 8, 2024, Billboard Korea reported that BTS member Jungkook was named Pinterest’s Most Searched K-Pop Idol of 2024. The platform hosts over 500 million monthly users and recorded Jungkook as the top-searched K-pop figure across all supported regions, with particularly strong interest from the United States and Europe.

Jungkook’s influence on Pinterest underscores his impact beyond music, with fans and users frequently seeking content related to his fashion, lifestyle, and creative projects.

Fans flooded social media to discuss the idol’s influence, even during his absence from the public eye since December 2023. For those unfamiliar, Jungkook is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service alongside his bandmates Jimin, RM, and V.

Meanwhile, two BTS members, Jin and j-hope, have already completed their service, with Jin finishing in June and j-Hope in October this year. Suga, due to a physical injury, is serving as a social worker. Before enlisting, Jungkook made waves with his first solo debut album, GOLDEN, an all-English pop release, on November 3, 2023. Some fans also expressed their excitement, noting how impressive it is to see the BTS star dominate various online platforms.
