On Thursday, September 27, Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace rolled out its second episode, revealing an interesting set of winners and events. While the first episode dealt with an individual battle followed by a team battle, the second episode had the seven participating K-pop boy groups roll out their first set of performances.
For this episode, the seven boy groups were required to perform songs from the discography of their senior K-pop boy groups. The seven boy groups were gathered into three groups based on the songs that they were performing. Therefore, THE NEW SIX and Tempest were part of the Stray Kids group and competed against each other.

THE NEW SIX performed Phobia while Tempest performed Maniac. 8TURN and YOUNITE belonged to the ENHYPEN group where 8TURN performed Future Perfect while YOUNITE performed Bite Me in their battle against each other. The other three groups, The CrewOne, ONEUS, and CRAVITY belonged to the NCT, THE BOYZ, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER group.
The three groups participated in a triple-performance where The CrewOne performed Watch It by THE BOYZ, ONEUS performed Kick It by NCT, and CRAVITY performed SUGAR RUSH RIDE by TOMORROW x TOGETHER. Each group chose their opponents based on the results from the evaluation battle in episode one.

The Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace is a reality survival show organized by Mnet. While it stood as a predecessor for the show, Kingdom, it was recently rebranded as an independent program. The second season of the reality survival show consists of seven K-pop boy groups.
The participating groups are 8TURN, CRAVITY, ONEUS, Tempest, The CrewOne (ATBO and Just B), THE NEW SIX, and Younite. The show is also hosted by the second-generation K-pop idol, SHINee's Taemin. In the second episode of Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace, the rankings for the first evaluation battle were revealed.
In the first episode, the outstanding K-pop idols from each of the groups competed against each other. Following this, the groups belonging to the top six ranks of the individual battle competed against each other in a team battle. CRAVITY was not part of the team battle. On the other hand, for this week's Road to Kingdom episode, the winners of the two rounds, Stray Kids and ENHYPEN groups, were revealed. THE NEW SIX won their battle against Tempest with their performance of Phobia. Additionally, YOUNITE also bagged the winning prize for their performance of ENHYPEN's Bite Me against 8TURN.
The results for the triple performance are yet to be revealed. The CrewOne is scheduled to roll out their performance of THE BOYZ' Watch it in next week of Road to Kingdom's episode. Following the same, the winners of the third group and the final rankings for the first performance round will be revealed.
