More about BTS' RM's upcoming documentary
RM: Right People, Wrong Place
During the interview, Kim Namjoon wanted to convey the following message to the audience. He added that people's ideas of right and wrong depended on their past experiences and current perspectives.
"Since the documentary is called "RM: Right People, Wrong Place" it is a bit different from the album. But even the album's first track kind of goes back and forth. It'll be 'people,' then something else. I think that only emphasizes that our idea of "right" and "wrong" really depends on the moments we experience and our perspectives at the time."
BTS' RM further mentioned that he had become the right person while working on the project and wanted to convey his honest self.
"To others, I could be "wrong" or I could be "right." Through working on this project with this team, I believe I became the "right people" or one of the "right people." My efforts to be as honest as I can and stay true to each moment were captured quite well in the film. I went to unfamiliar places with people I'd never hung out with before."
Kim Namjoon's upcoming documentary RM: Right People, Wrong Place is slated to hit theaters worldwide on December 5, 2024. The project will showcase the eight-month journey of the production process of his second solo album titled Right Place, Wrong Person.
BTS' RM was enlisted for mandatory military service on December 11, 2023, alongside fellow bandmate Kim Taehyung. He is expected to be discharged in June 2025.
