SAY MY NAME: Members, ages, and all you need to know about iNKODE Entertainment's new girl group

The newly formed K-pop girl group SAY MY NAME, produced by Kim Jae-joong, has introduced all seven of its members. Over two weeks, iNKODE Entertainment gradually released teaser trailers and official photos of the members on their YouTube channel, @sa2m2nam3.

The lineup consists of Dohee, Kanny, Mei, Junhwi, Soha, Seungjoo, and Hitomi. The idols in the new group range in age, with the eldest being 23 years old and the youngest just 14. The group consists of four South Korean members, two from Japan, and one from Thailand.

On August 29, 2024, iNKODE Entertainment confirmed that their first-ever idol group would launch in October, with veteran singer Kim Jae-joong playing a significant role in their training and development.

Here is all you need to know about each member of SAY MY NAME:

1) Hitomi

Born as Honda Hitomi on October 6, 2001, the 23-year-old has an impressive background, having participated in Produce48, where she ranked 9th, leading to her debut in IZ*ONE. Following the group's disbandment in 2021, she remained active in the industry and was a member of AKB48.

2) Kanny

Kanny, whose real name is Napassanan Keawkong, is a Thai-born member. She was born on December 26, 2005, and has been active in the music scene since she joined iNKODE in 2023. Before her debut, Kanny was a student at Dandelion dance and vocal/rap studio in Thailand, which prepared her for her career as part of SAY MY NAME.

3) Mei

Mei, also known as Mei Terada, was born on September 27, 2005, in Miyazaki, Japan. The 19-year-old previously participated in The Debut: Dream Academy, where she ranked 15th. Fluent in Japanese, Korean, and English, Mei is known for her expressive nature and love for dancing and music.

4) Dohee

Dohee, born Kim Do-hee in 2006, is from Gwangju, South Korea. At just 18 years old, she has already auditioned for several top agencies before joining iNKODE in 2023. She trained in dance at Joy Dance Music Gwangju and was revealed as the first member of SAY MY NAME.

5) Junhwi

Junhwi, born Seo Jun-hwi on June 11, 2007, is a 17-year-old from Gimje, South Korea. With a background in dance from DIP Dance Studio, Junhwi began her journey in performing arts in 2022. Her love for dance, along with her education at Gimje Girls’ High School, has made her a promising addition to SAY MY NAME.

6) Soha

Soha, born Jung So-ha on July 16, 2006, is a South Korean member with a flair for performance. Her younger sister is also in the entertainment industry, having been a contestant on Show Queen. She was revealed as the fifth member of the group.

7) Seungjoo

Seungjoo, born Yoon Seung-joo on September 24, 2010, is the youngest member of SAY MY NAME. Hailing from Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the 14-year-old has already made waves by participating in My Teenage Girl, where she was the youngest contestant.
