On November 1, 2024, GQ Japan dropped its December 2024 special cover edition featuring BTS' Jin. Kim Seokjin also gave an exclusive interview for the same. The magazine unveiled the first teasers featuring the K-pop idol as the face of its cover on October 24, 2024.

During this exclusive interview, BTS’ Jin was asked about the possibility of his solo concerts in the future and pre-performance routine.

“I take a big deep breath right before going on stage. I hold my breath for about 10 seconds and breathe out. By doing this it makes me feel relaxed. Also, my own special pink sparkling mic. I like it so I carry it around with me all the time," said the K-pop atist instead of discussing his solo shows.

BTS' Jin's fans quickly observed how the singer avoided the topic of solo performances. As a result, curiosity about Seokjin's future solo concerts intensified. One user on X expressed support for possible solo acts.

Several other reactions from BTS' Jin’s supporters were recorded online. While one called him "CUTIE," another stated that Seokjin and his pink mic are inseparable.

BTS' Jin talked about the group’s leadership under RM during the interview

In the interview, Kim Seokjin was asked what is required for effective teamwork. He was also asked for ideas on effective communication in a team. In response, BTS' Jin stated that the group's leader, RM, aka Namjoon, is crucial to efficient team communication.

“In our case, I think our leader RM's role is significant. He listens carefully to each of our opinions, then suggests and leads us to the best way/solution. He's reliable and trustworthy. Me and RM, both have things we'd like to do, but we don't assert them strongly in group activities, so instead, we'd like to/we prefer to reflect them in our solo projects.”

BTS' Jin also sent an encouraging message to his admirers. During the interview, the BTS member was requested to deliver a message to his supporters, as the group is regarded as the voice of youth.
