On July 31, 2024, HYBE dropped BTS Jin's RUN JIN teaser 2 on its official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV. In the teaser, The Astronaut singer-songwriter shared a version of "What's in my bag" while packing for his trip to Hallasan Mountain in Jeju Island.
For the unversed, on July 30, the upcoming show's first teaser was released where the BTS idol made plans to go on a trek to the Hallasan Mountain in Jeju Island, South Korea. The variety show encompassing the K-pop idol's adventures is reminiscent of the band's Run BTS! show and will be released on August 13.
Meanwhile, in the second teaser, the idol categorized himself as a light-packer and revealed that he only packs a lip balm, foam cleanser, and an electric razor in a BT21 pouch along with the 'Good Day' BTS merch pajamas. He added that even when he travels for concerts, he packs the same items along with two t-shirts and ten undergarments.

The BTS ARMY expressed their joy by flooding X with their tweets and hailed him as an "inspiration" for reusing the same items and clothes for years.
"Seokjinnie packing the things he can’t live without," one fan wrote.
"Seokjin using his Rj pouch since 2018 says so much about this guy. He keeps his things tidy and they last for a long time. Reusing your old stuff is so good for environment- environment superhero. He is so consistent with what he likes! While he is always coming up with out of the box ideas, his corehthings are always the same. It is easy to love him for a long time especially if you are also that kind of a person. He is very inspirational without saying anything," another fan wrote.

Others joked about the Nivea lip balm which the Grammy-nominated South Korean musician packed, stating that fans might not get the same result since Jin is naturally good-looking.
"Just so you all know, the magic isn't in the lip balm...I'm just giving you a heads up so you don't get discouraged if you all don't see the same results," one other fan joked.
"So basically he can't live without his good day pyjama and lip balm," one fan said.

The BTS idol enlisted in the South Korean military in December 2022 and served his mandatory conscription till June 12, 2024. Before that, he attended the Grammy Awards in Las Vegas in April 2022. Additionally, he was busy delivering concert performances with his band members for the Permission to Dance concert series on April 8, 9, 15, and 16 at the Allegiant Stadium.
After completing the 12-show concert series, he collaborated with the British rock band Coldplay to release his debut solo single, The Astronaut. The BTS idol released the single on October 28, 2022. He flew to Argentina and performed the song live at the Argentina Coldplay concert shows on the same day the song was globally released.
After that, he had to serve an 18-month mandatory period of military service in the Republic of Korea army. After getting discharged from the military on June 12, 2024, the BTS idol hosted his first-ever solo fan meet event called 2024 Festa on June 13.
The event was to commemorate the band's 11th anniversary and to celebrate the singer’s homecoming. Only 4000 fans were selected to attend the event and 1000 fans won the opportunity to hug the BTS idol via a lucky draw.
After that, the singer made waves by being the first Korean musician to represent South Korea at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris. The International Olympic Committee selected him as one of the esteemed torchbearers to carry the Olympic flame across the Louvre pyramid in France on July 14, 2024, local time.
The BTS musician is set to release his debut solo album by the end of 2024.
