On Wednesday, December 25, BABYMONSTER took over the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon stage. The annual music festival was organized at Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea. The rookie girl group performed at their first Korean music festival during the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon event. The K-pop ensemble performed their Intro + DRIP song for the occasion.

BABYMONSTER's followers were ecstatic about their energetic stage presence and the performance they delivered with hand-held mics. Consequently, the girl group admirers flooded the internet with their praises for the emerging group. Expressing this view, one user on X stated:

“BABYMONSTER PERFORMANCE HAS ALREADY SET THE BAR HIGH FOR ROOKIES OMG”

Many other plaudits for the K-pop girl group were seen online. While some said they performed like “seasoned veterans,” others appreciated YG Entertainment for molding the girls into "perfection."

“The fact that Babymonster is slaying their first-ever Korean music festival with hand mics at such a high level is INSANE! They’re already performing like seasoned veterans—rookies who are definitely here to stay!,” wrote a fan.
“YG believes in the “wine method”—the art of taking time to craft excellence. They don’t rush to debut artists because their focus is on molding them into perfection. It’s not about speed; it’s about creating timeless artistry that stands out,” stated another fan.
“Babymonster has just achieved something simply unimaginable for a group of rookies. They performed as if it was their last stage, microphone in hand, with incredible energy. Their singing, their dancing, their stage presence – everything was absolutely perfect,” commented a fan.

Some fans lauded the group’s “hunger to perform” on a big stage, while others suggested that other K-pop idols should learn from them “how to serve.” Another fan suggested that the girl group should often be a part of music festivals and award shows.

“Idols should learn from them like how to serve. No penny waste for their concert fr,” stated another admirer.
“You can feel their hunger to perform on a big stage their facial expressions and stage presence say it all. They really owned it, rookie who?,” a fan expressed.
“just when i thought Drip couldn't get any cooler. they drop this band version yes, i'm buying the entire front row at the concert so i can dance to this slay,” a fan remarked.
“yg must send babymon often for another k-festival or award event bc look at this gurls sooo amazing performance,” an X user suggested.
