The group shared a twelve-second teaser, showcasing a railway station with a train arriving at the place, and an unidentified man seemingly waiting with his phone in his hands.
The scene transitioned to a board featuring the name of the band's upcoming record and the release date. According to SEVENTEEN's official X post, the much-anticipated album I FELT HELPLESS is slated to premiere on October 14, 2024, at 6 pm Korean Standard Time (KST), and October 15, 2024 at 5 am ET.
Subsequently, the teaser circulated on social media and went viral, leaving fans speculating about the concept of the upcoming record.
The pre-orders for SEVENTEEN's I FELT HELPLESS will begin on September 13
According to the press release shared by Pledis Entertainment through the South Korean social media platform Weverse on September 12, 2024, the pre-orders for I FELT HELPLESS will begin on September 13, 2024, at 11 am Korean Standard Time. The record will be available for purchase in three versions, including Standard, Weverse albums, and KIT versions.
CARATs and interested users could pre-save and pre-order SEVENTEEN'S album I FELT HELPLESS through multiple streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, Target, Walmart, and Weverse.
In recent news, Pledis Entertainment has announced the launch of the group's first-ever pop-up even in CDMX from October 18 to October 20, October 25- October 25 at 10:00-20:00 CST. It will be taking place at Guanajuato 227, Roma Nte, Cuauhtemoc, 06700 Mexico City, CDMX.
The event will feature a special showcase displaying the group's recent album, alongside highlights from previous projects. CDMX- exclusive and limited albums and merchandise will also be available for purchase. Additionally, weverse pick-up order customers would have access to the pop-up event, as per the date and time of the group's scheduled pick-up.
I FELT HELPLESS will be the thirteen-member group's first project in the last six months. They have previously released their second Korean language compilation album, 17 is RIGHT HERE, through Pledis Entertainment on April 29, 2024. The record featured the group's Korean-language singles from the time of their debut to 2024, accompanied by Korean versions of their Japanese singles.
SEVENTEEN is a South Korean K-pop band formed by Pledis Entertainment, a sub-label of HYBE Corporation. It features thirteen members, including S.Coups, Joshua, Jun, Jeonghan, Wonwoo, Hoshi, Woozi, Mingyu, DK, The8, Vernon, Dino, and Seungkwan. The band debuted with their extended play, 17 Carat, on May 26, 2015.
