SEVENTEEN announced live YouTube concert streaming for the Chuseok festival through their official X account on September 13. It will take place on September 17, 2024, at 7:00 pm KST (Korean Standard Time). The group will stream the following concerts in the upcoming festive season:

SEVENTEEN announced their October comeback with their 12th mini album, I FELT HELPLESS, on September 12, 2024, through the official X account. The band dropped a twelve-second teaser featuring a railway station radiating an eerie vibe. An unidentified man was standing, seemingly waiting for the train with his phone.
As per the official teaser and X post, I FELT HELPLESS will be released on October 14, 2024, at 6 pm KST and October 15, 2024, at 5 am KST, respectively. The pre-orders for the upcoming record have already started on September 13, 2024, at 11 am KST. They will be available in three versions, including Standard, Weverse albums, and KIT versions.
I FELT HELPLESS has been available for pre-save and pre-order from multiple audio streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, Deezer, Walmart, Target, and Weverse.
In recent news, Pledis Entertainment has shared a press release through the South Korean social media platform Weverse, announcing the mandatory military enlistment of Jeonghan. The press release was shared on September 12, 2024.
The agency stated that Jeonghan would begin his conscription on September 26, 2024. It was also disclosed that the male artist could not participate in the promotional activities for the group's 12th mini album, I FELT HELPLESS, and the subsequent world tour. But Jeonghan would appear in the pre-recorded content.
Pledis Entertainment further requested fans not to visit the military site on the day of enlistment and stated:
"There will be no official event on the day of his enlistment, and we kindly request that you refrain from visiting the site of his military service. Please send your heartfelt messages of support for JEONGHAN through Weverse."
The agency also requested the love and support from CARATs for Jeonghan's latest activity and stated:
"We ask for your continued love and support for the artist. Kindly send your best wishes for his safe and healthy return. We will also stay committed to providing JEONGHAN with all the necessary support during this time."
