TWICE's Jeongyeon revealed that she received support from Lovely Runner star Byeon Woo-seok over her playful fight with her elder sister Gong Seung-yeon. On October 12, Jeongyeon dropped the latest episode of her YouTube talk show INSPECTOR, where she spoke about Byeon Woo-seok and Gong Seung-yeon.
While filming this episode, titled EVENLY COOKED WELL VOICES, Jeongyeon spoke about a previous episode featuring TWICE leader Jihyo, which trended on YouTube. Jeongyeon stated that she was not expecting the episode to receive so much attention as they were group members and had filmed content before.
The ONE SPARK singer revealed that she watched the episode featuring Jihyo with her elder sister and actress Gong Seung-yeon. Jeongyeon added that Gong Seung-yeon suggested watching the episode together, but she hesitated initially. This was because Jeongyeon spoke about getting playfully hit by her sister in that episode.
Jeongyeon stated that Gong Seung-yeon was contacted by Byeon Woo-seok after watching the episode where he asked her not to hit her sister. Notably, Gong Seung-yeon and Byeon Woo-seok are signed with the same agency, VARO Entertainment.
Jeongyeon said,
“I visited my sister yesterday. She said she hasn't watched Inspector and wanted to watch it! The episode featuring Jihyo I told her not to watch it, to watch it alone but she said no. She got a call from actor Byun Woo-seok. He said stop hitting your sister.”
