BLACKPINK member Jisoo emerged as the most impactful and the top-performing fashion influencer of 2024, receiving praises from fans online. On January 10, Lefty, an influencer market platform that publishes annual reports regarding celebrities and influencers online impact and monetary value they generate through social media engagements.

As per Lefty's report, Jisoo reclaimed her position as the topmost impactful fashion influencer of 2024 while generating a whopping $227 million in EMV. This is the second time the BLACKPINK member topped this category. Previously, in 2022, she took first place by generating $198 million in EMV.

Furthermore, she ranked four in the top beauty influencers of 2024 list, following celebrities like Ariana Grande, Kylie Jenner, and Hailey Bieber. Notably, Jisoo is the only celebrity who does not own a beauty brand. However, the K-pop idol has been the face of the luxury house Dior since 2021 and has participated in several beauty campaigns of the brand.

Fans took to social media to celebrate this moment while also talking about the positive influence the BLACKPINK vocalist has on her followers.

On December 5, 2025, Jisoo of BLACKPINK turned on a live streaming session on the Bubble app to interact with her fans. While talking about her solo comeback, she gave a spoiler, creating anticipation among fans.

“What can I spoil? I can't say much… All the preparations are done, we are at the stage of organizing everything. My album will be released faster than we expected, and there are more songs than before but not too many. They’re all songs that I like so please give it lots of love and support,” she said.

Meanwhile, the BLACKPINK vocalist is all set for the release of her upcoming drama Newtopia with South Korean actor Park Jeong-min. The drama follows the story of a couple, Jae-yoon, played by Park Jeong-min, and Young-joo, depicted by Jisoo. As Jae-yoon completes his military service, Young-joo asks for a break in their relationship.

However, things turn upside down as Seoul is overrun by zombies. Young-joo and Jae-yoon run around the city to reunite with each other. Newtopia is scheduled to be released on February 7, 2025, on the OTT platforms Coupang Play in South Korea and Prime Video internationally.
