“She knows koreaboo loves clickbait”— Fans react as KATSEYE's LARA seemingly shades the media company in a newly shared Weverse message

On December 24, screenshots of KATSEYE's LARA’s messages on Korean social media app Weverse went viral online. These screenshots received a lot of attention after LARA seemed to satirize the internet outlet, Koreaboo, in her recently disclosed Weverse interaction, as per X account, @NewsKatseye. In the screenshots, LARA initially discussed how people recognized her when she was snowboarding.

She also mocked Koreaboo with a sarcastic comment on a headline for the publication's article.

“New koreaboo article : KATSEYE LARA TAKES TUMBLE ON MOUNTAIN,” she commented.

This caustic remark by the female idol thrilled KATSEYE's LARA fans because, according to one of the group's supporters, the newspaper has previously published various clickbait pieces and misleading data about the girl group to acquire views. Many other fans praised KATSEYE’s LARA for such a bold comment.

While some referred to her as a "queen," others praised KATSEYE members' "audacity." Another admirer underlined that Koreaboo removed some previous stories about the girl group.
