On January 21, 2025, Single's Inferno panelist Hong Jin-kyung revealed that her daughter was an ARMY on BTS Jin's variety program Run Jin. The female comedian disclosed the information in episode 18, uploaded to the BANGTANTV YouTube channel.
Upon knowing that Hong Jin-kyung's daughter was an ARMY, Jin asked if he should leave his autograph on the walls of her house. In response, the former replied that it would raise the value of her home. Subsequently, the Happy singer stated that he was not sure about that.
Hong Jin-kyung further mentioned that she kept from her daughter that Jin was visiting her house. She also revealed that because of this her child might disown her.

"I kept the fact that you were coming today strictly confidential. If she knew, I figured she'd pass out. We can't have that. So I didn't tell her you were coming. When she finds out you were here, she might actually disown me!" she said.
Subsequently, the clip circulated on social media and went viral among the fandom. They were elated that Single's Inferno panelist Hong Jin-kyung's daughter was an ARMY.

The fandom stated that they would relate to Hong Jin-kyung's daughter's reaction when she found out the confidential secret about BTS Jin. Many also stated that, had they been in their child's place, they would have likely disowned their mother as well.
