Megan Thee Stallion posted a clip of Neva Play featuring BTS' Namjoon on her Instagram account on September 10, 2024 (PST). In the caption, she expressed her excitement over Namjoon aka RM's impending 30th birthday on September 12. She wrote,

"Keep running it up HOTTIES X ARMY and omggg only 2 more days until @rkive 's birthdayyyyyy."

The BTS ARMY were pleased to see the Mamushi rapper mention RM's birthday. The fandom took social media by storm, as September 12 holds massive significance in the Bangtan world. One fan wrote on X,

Fans also started wondering if Stallion has a surprise release up her sleeve for the occasion of Namjoon's birthday.

"I hope Megan Thee Stallion & RM ( Namjoon) will release more versions of Neva Play on Friday," one fan wrote.

In other news, Kim Namjoon enlisted in the Republic of Korea Army on December 11, 2023, alongside bandmate Kim Taehyung aka V. As per South Korean law, every physically fit male citizen is required to serve a mandatory period of 18 to 21 months in the nation's military (Army/Marines/Air Force).

The BTS leader will be discharged in June 2025 along with his band members Taehyung, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook. BTS' Jin was discharged from service on June 12, 2024, while J-Hope is set to return in October 2024.
