On October 4, 2024, My Name is Gabriel aired episode 14 featuring BLACKPINK's Jennie. The show sends South Korean celebrities to a different country where they live as someone else for 72 hours. The BLACKPINK idol was sent to a small town in Italy to live the life of Maria—the owner of a popular homestay.
The show's last episode began where episode 13 left when the K-pop star was recognized by three guests whom she had gone to pick up. The rest of the voyage was her refuting their allegations and claiming to be Maria. After they reached the homestay, the three men debated if she was the BLACKPINK idol.
The K-pop artist walked up to the guests to ask if they required something else when one of the guests asked her if she was a BLACKPINK member. He claimed to have seen her face emblazoned on a poster on his sister's bedroom wall. The second guest added,

The BLACKPINK idol tried to maintain a poker face throughout the conversation and kept denying it before she left hurriedly. Fans were amused by the scene and shared their reactions on X as the clip went viral. One fan wrote,

Fans joked about how the 28-year-old rapper tried to avoid breaking into laughter.

Others wrote that the My Name is Gabriel staff should have sent the Solo rapper to "outer space" since all four BLACKPINK members are globally popular.
