BLACKPINK's Rosé and Bruno Mars' hit collaboration with APT. made waves worldwide upon its release on October 18, 2024. On November 4, 2024, a surprising clip of Gigi Hadid playing the game went viral.

The song mentions a popular Korean drinking game where players chant the word 'apateu' (short for 'apartment' in Korean) and stack their hands to certain called-out numbers. The one whose hand is placed atop reaching the final number loses and has to drink.

The game is a personal favorite of the BLACKPINK member, leading her to make the song. It even begins with the lyrics stating it's a random game Rosé enjoys. Several challenges have emerged upon APT.'s release, including a dance challenge and one where people play the 'apateu' game.

Meanwhile, the well-known American fashion model happened to be in Korea on this day, owing to the opening of her luxury knitwear brand, Guest In Residence's pop-up in Seoul. In the videos circulating online, Hadid was visibly having fun playing the game, chanting "apateu," and even won a round.

At the same time, another video showed her dancing to the Rosé and Bruno Mars track, thrilling fans of the artists. As the videos continue to win hearts online and spark reactions, a netizen called Hadid "adorable,"
