On November 30, BLACKPINK's Lisa hit a milestone as she surpassed 3.1 billion Spotify streams across all credits, making her the most streamed K-pop female soloist in Spotify history. With her latest feat, the Rockstar rapper surpassed IU's longstanding record. She also crossed over 2.3 billion streams solely with her solo tracks.

BLACKPINK's Lisa also became the fastest K-pop female soloist to achieve this feat and the most streamed K-pop female soloist on the platform with only 13 tracks.

Lisa’s followers rejoiced as the idol made history. They flooded social media, with one user on X saying:

“Another milestone for Lisa! She's truly a global sensation.”

While some said the female idol’s “global impact is undeniable,” another referred to her as “Queen of Spotify.”

BLACKPINK's Lisa became Billboard’s first global star

On Thursday, November 14, BLACKPINK's Lisa accomplished a historic milestone by becoming Billboard's first-ever global cover star, featuring on the magazine's covers in 10 locations. The 10 regions were the USA, Canada, Arabia, Argentina, Italy, Brazil, Spain, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines.

The BLACKPINK member, who has lately ventured into solo music and acting, has been accumulating numerous accolades.

Moreover, she solely achieved the distinction of being the first Thai and K-pop artist to appear on the cover of Vanity Fair Hollywood. In addition to her cover and photoshoot for Billboard, the pop star participated in an interview with the publication. She provided followers with an intimate glimpse into her life while traversing the globe since the inception of her career as a solo artist.

Among the behind-the-scenes stories were her encounter with Sabrina Carpenter, attending Paris Fashion Week, and other events.

BLACKPINK's Lisa is also currently the only female K-pop soloist with a solo song surpassing 1 billion streams on Spotify. Her single Money, which she dropped in September 2024, achieved this feat.
