On December 6, 2024, BLACKPINK member Rosé officially released her maiden solo album, rosie. The album showcases Rosé's versatility as a musician and songwriter, featuring collaborations with global icons, including Bruno Mars, and blending genres such as pop-rock, R&B, and synth-pop.
The album also includes tracks like toxic till the end, Number One Girl, and APT. with Bruno Mars among others. In her recent interview, Rosé revealed that the album was deeply personal, drawing inspiration from past experiences and relationships.
She further shared her commitment to connecting with fans, announcing that the track receiving the most love will inspire her next music video. The BLACKPINK member shared:
"I want a video for every single of them. I can imagine a video for every one of them, so, I mean if you guys are showing like love for a specific song, then, maybe."
Fans were thrilled and planned on taking the BLACKPINK idol on her words. They flooded social media suggesting a "visual album."
