Shin Hye-sun and Lee Joon-hyuk are reportedly in talks to take on the lead roles in this upcoming drama. Shin Hye-sun is considering the role of Sarah Kim, a Korean-American. Sarah is a criminal mastermind who creates counterfeit luxury brands and defrauds the wealthy upper class.

Lee Joon-hyuk will play Park Mu-gyeong, a sharp and calculating superintendent in Seoul's Violent Crimes Unit, leading the 2nd Division, 1st Team. His relentless approach has contributed to the unit's high arrest success rate. As of October 15, 2024, Netflix is in talks to produce Lady Dior as an original series, expanding its Korean content lineup.
