On December 16, @AboutMusicYT reported via X, that BTS' Jungkook was crowned the most searched K-pop male idol on YouTube Korea in 2024, leaving the fandom proud. He was placed at the No.1 position, followed by other artists, including Zico, Cha Eun-woo, G-Dragon, Kyungsoo, Lee Changsub, Young K, Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and others.
It is to be noted that the male artist has not released an album in 2024. He has only dropped a fan song, Never Let Go, to commemorate the band's eleventh-anniversary event, FESTA, on June 7 through BigHit Music.
Before his military enlistment, the idol released his solo debut studio album, Golden, on November 3, 2023. It featured music videos for Standing Next to You, Seven (feat. Latto), 3D (feat. Jack Harlow), and others on YouTube.
Subsequently, BTS' Jungkook's latest milestone circulated on social media, and the fandom could not contain their excitement. They expressed their pride in him. An X user tweeted that he did not release a single music video in 2024 and still topped the survey.

BTS' Jungkook was featured in Are You Sure?! alongside bandmate Jimin
BTS' Jungkook was featured in the South Korean travel variety program Are You Sure?!, alongside fellow bandmate Jimin. The eight-episode show featured the duo traveling through different countries, including South Korea, Japan, and the United States, in a variety of seasons. They embarked on an unprecedented journey without any concrete plans.
Are You Sure?! completed filming in 2023 before the military enlistment of the Seven singer and Jimin. It featured guest appearances from the bandmates, including Jimin and Suga. The duo showcased a strong chemistry and multiple memorable moments. It is available to stream on Disney+.
BTS' Jungkook was enlisted for mandatory military service on December 12, 2023, alongside group member Jimin. He is expected to be discharged in June 2025.
