BigHit Music reveals the inspiration and meaning behind Jimin's Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (ft. Loco)

Following the release of the BTS Jimin's pre-release single of his second album, MUSE, fans were naturally curious to learn about the meaning and inspiration behind the track.

Soon enough, on June 28, the idol's agency, BigHit Music released a statement explaining the several aspects of the track.

The statement explained that the song was closely inspired by The Beatles' 1967 album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club. The song blends hip-hop elements through the implementation of a large-scale orchestra. The production of the track, BigHit Music explained, was collaboratively done with Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, and EVAN.

The agency also stated that this group of collaborators slowly began to refer to themselves as the Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, which later became the song's title. Here's more information regarding the track's meaning:

"Referencing the fictional flower Smeraldo, which symbolizes 'the truth untold' the lyrics tenderly express the longing to confess and find love on behalf of those unable to articulate their feelings. The statement, then, continued to talk about the artists in the track and their contribution to its feel.
