On August 13th, 2024, the first episode of BTS’ Jin’s much-awaited Run Jin vlog series was finally released on YouTube. The episode is available on the official YouTube channel of the BANGTAN TV. The intro video of the first episode features the background music of Jin’s Super Tuna song. The K-pop idol’s latest vlog series came out following his departure from the military on June 12th.
Fans went gaga over the intro of the first episode, therefore, they flooded the internet with appreciation for the video. One of them wrote:

BTS’ Jin’s vlog series Run Jin will release new episodes every Tuesday
On July 30th, 2024, the YouTube channel of BANGTAN TV released the first teaser of Run Jin. Following this, multiple teasers of the vlog series were posted, giving fans insights about upcoming episodes. Teasers revealed that Jin was traveling to the Hallassan Mountains in Jeju.
Finally, on Tuesday, August 13th, the series premiered its first episode, starting with a playful intro video. This intro video shows Jin giving a flying kiss standing on stage, followed by his hiking scene. This video nicely complimented the singer’s solo music track Super Tuna, which was originally released in 2021. Besides the intro video, Jin’s single was also in the news a few days ago during his 2024 Paris Olympic Torchbearer ceremony. Fans in Paris greeted Jin ahead of the torch relay by chanting his hit single.
The episode begins with Jin packing items for his hiking trip to the Hallassan Mountains. He packs beverages and snacks. He started shooting his vlog five days after his discharge from mandatory military duty on June 12th.
In the video, the singer also shares the other content ideas he had in mind before finalizing his trip to Hallassan. His first idea was to hit a thousand tennis balls, while the other was to hike and reach the top of the mountain. Therefore, he ended up with the second one.
While talking, he continued his hiking and finally witnessed the majestic view of Baengnokdam. It took around 4 hours and 20 minutes for Jin to complete the 9.6-kilometer rigorous trail. After enjoying some time on top, he started running down and reached the starting point. After returning, he enjoyed the local dish of Jeju, Jari Mulhwe.
The preview of the next episode revealed that Seokjin will play funny games with school students. The second episode of Run Jin will be released on August 20th.
Kim Seokjin, aka Jin, has remained engaged in several different projects and events after finishing his service. Most recently, he was appointed as the global brand ambassador of the high-end fashion house Gucci on August 7.
