On September 25, 2024, BTS' Kim Taehyung, who is well-known by his stage name V, stirred the online community after his picture with South Korean actor, Kim Min-jae, and Korean bodybuilder & media personality, Ma Sun-ho went viral online. The picture was uploaded by Ma Sun-ho on his Instagram account.
BTS' V stood in front of a mirror wearing grey shorts and a black tank top. Attention was drawn to Kim Min-jae and V's well-defined muscles, which demonstrated their commitment to fitness even during their well-earned military leave.
Ma Sun-ho wrote on his Instagram caption,
"Exercising diligently even while on vacation. Proud young people Taehyung & Minjae. After lifting weights all over my body for two days, I feel proud. I'm jealous of your youth... I'm jealous of your face too...Looking forward to the next vacation. Let’s definitely eat soy sauce crab again.."

Fans were thrilled to see Taehyung and Kim Min-jae reunite again after 2017 when the duo filmed a live YouTube video for MBCkpop. Meanwhile, fans flooded social media praising the Layover singer-songwriter's new physique, as he gained muscles while serving in the military.

Fans were stunned to see the BTS idol's transformation as he currently weighs over 75kgs. Previously, BTS' V posted on Weverse sharing that he weighed 75kg in April 2024.

On September 22, 2024, BTS' Kim Taehyung aka V, attended IU's HEREH World Tour: THE WINNING encore concert in Seoul. The Love Me Again singer-songwriter was accompanied by his band member, BTS' j-hope. Both were spotted at the VIP section of the Seoul World Cup Stadium, enjoying IU's 100th concert.
The two BTS idols were on official leave as they posted several pictures from the concert on their respective Instagram accounts. For the unversed, V and j-hope have been serving their mandatory services in the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA). j-hope enlisted on April 18, 2023, and is set to be discharged on October 17, 2024.
V enlisted on December 11, 2023, along with his bandmate, Kim Namjoon. The Love Me Again singer-songwriter was deployed to the special forces unit, Special Duty Team (SDT), on January 18, 2024. He is the only BTS member to have joined the special forces. He is set to return in June 2025.
