The Rose leader Woosung garnered attention online for sharing some anecdotes about his collaboration with BTS Suga for the song Snooze. Woosung is currently on his solo world tour titled B4 We Die. On November 6, at a Q&A session at the Brooklyn concert, he addressed the audience about his friendship with Suga and how their song Snooze was made.

During the session, The Rose leader stated that Suga saw Woosung's Face music video and wanted to reach out to him. The BTS member then contacted an acquaintance who was friends with Woosung. The two celebrities became friends through said acquaintance.

Woosung stated that they have many commonalities and similar music tastes, and wanted to create music together. In the Q&A session, he said,

“But you know, so it was always expected kind of we always wanted to work together. So I was just honored YK? He made a beautiful song.”

Videos from Woosung's Brooklyn show started circulating among the common fans of the two singers. Fans were excited to learn about the story of how Snooze came to be made and took to social media to express their happiness hearing about the artists’ friendship. One fan said:

Many fans expressed their joy about the two talented artists being able to do a successful collaboration.

Netizens were delighted to learn about Woosung and the BTS rapper's friendship, mentioning Suga's expanding music circle.

“Suga seems shy and introverted, but when he likes someone, he proactively tries to connect with them!! My man is determined to expand his music circle!” said a fan.
“Woosung is such a good friend. He said that Yoongi and he had known each other long before covid and they worked on other songs too,” wrote another fan.

Fans also expressed how moved they were when they heard the song, with some saying the song is now among one of their favorites.

BTS’ Suga dropped his third solo album D-DAY on April 21, 2024, under the name of Agust D. D-DAY featured Snooze as a B-Side track by the BTS rapper who joined forces with South Korean singer Woosung and the late Japanese pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto. The song gives out the message of hope and strength as the lyrics suggest things will get better with time.

Following Suga's recent DUI incident, fans trended the lyrics on social media platforms like X, in support of the artist as he received hate from netizens. According to Forbes, Snooze entered the top 10 of Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart at number six in August 2024.

The chart ranks best-selling songs in America and this was the second time Snooze entered the chart following its release in April 2023. The song also entered the top 5 of the United States iTunes Charts at rank no. 3. Meanwhile, BTS’ Suga is currently fulfilling his military duties and is expected to reunite with his group members in 2025 following his discharge.
