On January 23, 2025, BTS' Kim Namjoon aka RM shared moments with his military comrades, sparking a wave of reactions from the fans. On Instagram stories, he shared several pictures and video clips of having fun with his military comrades, as he visited a Karaoke bar with them, went ice skating, and more.
RM enlisted in the South Korean military on December 11, 2023, alongside fellow BTS member Kim Taehyung (V). Both artists entered an army training center in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province, marking the beginning of their service.
These glimpses into his military life offered a rare look at the artist's experiences away from the stage. Fans were delighted to see the BTS leader having a good time with his new friends and they flooded social media. One fan wrote on X:

Fans mentioned that Namjoon's latest Instagram post delighted them.
"Joonie is soo cute. I love that he gets to enjoy these fun activities. This reminds me of Joonie’s travel vlog in Switzerland when he was so happy to go down a spiral slide and did it three times at that design museum." one fan wrote.
