The Trauma Code Hereos on Call is a South Korean medical TV series written by Choi Tae-kang and directed by Lee Do-yoon. Based on the web novel, Trauma Center: Golden Hour by Hansanleega, the story follows the life of a trauma surgeon named Baek Kang-hyuk, who joins a university hospital that's known for its struggling situation.

When he joins the trauma team at the university hospital, the situation instantly improves, thanks to the exceptional surgical skills that he's earned through his experience of working as a trauma surgeon in conflict zones around the world. However, he's initially unwelcomed by the team due to his unorthodox methods and utter confidence in his actions.

Regardless of the many clashes he faces with the team in the beginning, he gradually earns their respect and comfortably leads the team, turning them into a highly-skilled trauma unit. The show holds a total of 8 episodes, all of which have been released on Netflix, and each episode roughly spans from 45 to 55 minutes.
