On October 6, 2024, Stray Kids performed at the 2024 AMAs, titled American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special on CBS. The two-hour show was an ode to all the iconic boy bands in the last 50 years including, BTS, NSYNC, New Kids, One Direction, Backstreet Boys, and more.
During the ceremony, the popular K-pop boy group performed NSYNC's marionette-themed hit, BYE BYE BYE, to pay tribute to the band's legacy. Following this, they performed their latest hit release, CHK CHK BOOM from their recent album, ATE, released on July 19, 2024.
Their fans were thrilled to see the K-pop band deliver a phenomenal performance, honoring the biggest artists from different musical genres. One fan wrote on X,

STAYs— the official fandom name of Stray Kids— mentioned their pride as they cheered for the group. They became the first 4th-generation K-pop band to perform at the American Music Awards (AMAs).
"I am so proud of stray kids, I am so proud or my boys, people are raving about this perfomance, they loved it, Hyunjin-AH I am so proud," a fan wrote on X.
"This performance should get so much noise and praise because by being given the opportunity to cover one of the most well-known boy band songs in the world by NSYNC on a global stage like this, stray kids have cemented their place in history," another fan stated.
"Starting my day with Stray Kids' fantastic performance at AMA is a must. I couldn't stop smiling with sparkling eyes while watching their performance, they rocked the stage! I'm so proud of them, as always. My SKZ, you're so cool and amazing!" another fan added.
Others expressed that they became emotional watching the boy group perform at such a prestigious music award ceremony.
"Guyssss I need help I can’t stop watching stray kids AMA performance….I think I'm obsessed. I LOVE that danceracha got more spot light in this performance and Lee know always eats when he is in center. The beginning danceracha dance break HAS to be my favorite part!!!" one fan wrote.

Stray Kids impress spectators with iconic concert from dominATE world tour 2024 and more shows
JYP Entertainment's popular band embarked on their 2024 world tour, dominATE, on August 24, with their first concert in Seoul. They traveled to Singapore on September 28 for their show, and will head to Melbourne, Australia, on October 19. The world tour includes halts in China, Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Latin America, and Europe.
Previously, on July 12, 2024, they headlined the I-Days Milano Music Festival and performed in front of 80,000 spectators in Italy. On July 14, they delivered an electrifying performance at BST Hyde Park, London. Following this, they released their comeback album, ATE, on July 19, 2024.
On August 2, they headlined the second day of Lollapalooza Chicago 2024. Their setlist included tracks like S-Class, FREEZE, Super Bowl, TOPLINE, Thunderous, DOMINO, My Pace, Back Door, MANIAC, LALALALA, and more.
Stray Kids are set to perform in Melbourne at the Marvel Stadium on October 19 and in Sydney at Allianz Stadium on October 26, 2024. Reportedly, they are also collaborating on a song for League of Legends Netflix series Arcane season 2.
