"So irresponsible"— Fans call out JYP Nation as lasers seemingly hit Stray Kids' Felix's eyes during the group's recent concert in Taiwan

Stray Kids' Felix made headlines following the group’s recent performance in Taiwan’s Kaohsiung National Stadium. On November 3, 2024, Stray Kids gave their first-ever performance in Taiwan as part of their ongoing 2024 live tour, DominATE.

During their performance, lasers began to appear on stage in various colors. One of the lasers seemed to hit Felix in the eye, and while the superstar continued his act, it was reportedly evident he was in discomfort from the strong light.

The clip of this alleged incident went viral online as Stray Kids' Felix’s fans called out the group’s management agency, JYP Entertainment, for their irresponsible behavior. Fans swamped the internet with their outrage over the dangerous moment reportedly faced by Stray Kids' Felix.

Expressing this sentiment, one user on X wrote:

“Now wtf? Care to explain @Stray_Kids @stay_support @jypnation @Stray_Kids_JP ???? This laser lightning could have damaged Felix eyes ? How are you so irresponsible? You as a big Company should check these things beforehand? What about your Artists health and Protection?”

Some other responses from Stray Kids' Felix’s admirers expressed concern about JYP’s artists’ health and safety, while others said Felix felt pain in his eyes.

“Laser accidents can be fatal, JYP we want Felix to perform without any hazards. Artists health is more important than anything. So, pls protect your artists and our kids JYPE PROTECT YOUR ARTISTS,” called out another fan.

“I dont know what JYP doing, allow pp bring these things to cc? And what some fans think, do they know this could dmg Skz’s health, especially eyes? Felix had to look away bcz of the laser. Hope he’s fine. My poor Felix,” expressed a fan.

“op said in caption that when she's arranging the clips filmed at the concert, she found laser lights hit Felix's eyes and she could almost feel the pain in her own eyes when watching it @Stray_Kids please protect your artists from incident like this on stage,” stated another fan.

“This is beyond concerning I really hope they take actions to protect the boys and staff, this could go terribly wrong, I really hope Felix is ok, he had never covered or even blinked by the camera flashes before, @Stray_Kids @jypnation PLEASE PROTECT YOUR ARTIST,” commented a fan.

One said that the direction of the stage was horrible, while another called the lighting "problematic."

“This lighting is problematic. After all the threats with the laser, it’s terrible to see it. He always sacrifices his health and faces dangerous lighting again. Artists must be safe performing for hours,” expressed another admirer.

For Elle Korea’s celebratory 32nd anniversary edition, Stray Kids’ Felix became the face of the magazine alongside two other Korean stars, Gong-yoo, Jun Ji-hyun, and a K-pop group, RIIZE.

On October 15, Elle Korea magazine presented the newest teasers for its November 2024 cover, one of which featured Stray Kids' Felix. After those initial teasers, Elle Korea unveiled more covers starring the K-pop idol, alongside his exclusive interview. The latest cover was made in partnership with French luxury fashion business, Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton named Stray Kids' Felix as their House Ambassador on August 22, 2023, using their official social media platforms.
