On Friday, December 20, a netizen allegedly filed a complaint against BTS' Jungkook with the Ministry of National Defense. This was due to the recent Weverse livestream that the idol held on December 19.
Given that the idol is currently serving his mandatory military enlistment, the netizen who filed the complaint stated that holding livestreams amid one's military service is not legal. However, many fans came to the idol's defense and expressed that it wasn't the case since the idol broadcasted the livestream when he was on vacation.
Additionally, fans also expressed that if it was considered illegal, his agency, HYBE Labels would have interfered and stopped the livestream. Since the livestream went over 2 hours, many fans put forth that it wasn't the case. On the other hand, fans also suspected that the person who filed the complaint against Jungkook was a Jimin fan.
Many also expressed that the person might be a solo stan since the netizen was going against the idol. Naturally, inter-fan wars broke out in light of the complaint and several ARMYs were angered by the incident. Here are a few reactions to the same:
"I hope Jimin will see this so he will know his solo stans are just jobless and evil people."
"Lol, HYBE will definitely cut the live stream if that’s illegal. PJMs are so jobless and jealous of everything related to JK," stated an X user.
"Wtf is wrong with them.. they're always filing complaints Jung-kook literally said he got the permission since he's on his vacation," said a fan on X.
"hey dont have their own life to focus on?!!! This is beyond crazy. Coz of these haters JM is getting the bad image. This is so immature!" commented a netizen.
More fans and netizens expressed their frustration over the alleged complaint filed against the idol.
"What is wrong with these people?I am fed up with these solo's dramas. Can't they even think? He already said that he got permission," stated a netizen.
"The hell is wrong with solo fandoms. Don't they all know it affect not only the others but their favs as well," commented an X user.
"Do you think JK did not get any confirmation to do LIVE. If he did not, it could have been cut short... But it went on until he wants to end it," added a fan.
"Report them all to Hybe and Bighit they will take care of them," commented another user.
