On August 20, 2024, BIGHIT MUSIC aired RUN JIN episode 2 on BTS' official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV. The variety show stars BTS member Kim Seok-jin, aka Jin, and is a spin-off of the band's popular show, Run BTS!

In the latest episode, Jin visits his old high school, Posung Boys High School, wearing its uniform. As a throng of students gathered around to cheer for the BTS star upon his entry, the idol hilariously replied, "Of course!" every time a student called him handsome. The Tonight singer-songwriter directly headed to the school canteen to try some items from its latest menu.

He asked the canteen owner if the "Buldak" ramen was still available, among other stuff. He purchased 2,500 won ($1.88) worth of snacks and took out his black card to pay for them. The canteen owner politely refused the money and told the idol that he could have the snacks for free. The BTS ARMY was amused to see Jin take out his black card to pay for items worth $1.88. They flooded X, hilariously teasing the artist, and one fan wrote,

"So Kim Seokjin coded."

For the unversed, a black card can be attained by exclusive invitation only by the bank and requires the customer to spend over $1 million annually. Reportedly, only 0.5% of South Korea's elites own the card, including BTS' Kim Seok-jin.

Fans joked about the singer's silliness for using his black card at a school canteen.

"The black card in canteen is crazy... OKAY RICH KIM SEOKJIN," one fan said.
"THE 0.05% ELITE CARD BY INVITATION!!!! JIN WHY ARE YOU PAYING WITH THAT IN YOUR SCHOOL?!?!?" another fan wrote.
"Today's Run Jin episode has so many hilarious moments. Healing my tired mind from all the day's work. 1. Seokjin using his black card to pay for his 2500 won snacks from the school canteen," another fan joked.

Others called him "cute" for his silly gesture and laughed when he called himself "rich" in front of the canteen owner in RUN JIN episode 2.

"Someone please tell seokjin that black card won't work at school canteen," one fan commented.
"Omg the way kim Seokjin said "sir I'm rich so I'll pay"... someone please tell him that black card won't work at school canteen..He's soo funny and cute!!" another fan remarked.
"When you stan the rich idol with real black card, yeahh the JinHit is back yeorobunn!!!" one fan wrote.

BTS' Kim Seok-jin's hilarious interaction with the high school first-year students in RUN JIN episode 2

In RUN JIN episode 2, BTS' Jin asks about the students' singing ability, and, should they be proficient, he declares that he'll speak with his company, BIGHIT MUSIC (now HYBE), to audition them. The classroom teacher tries to sing one line to make light of the situation, which made the episode filled with wholesome yet funny moments.

Later, Jin quips that he will lose to the class president and the other strong boys during arm wrestling, so he tries to avoid them. During the PE class in RUN JIN episode 2, Jin competes against 26 boys from Posung High School. The coach asks them to do a plank and hold out for the longest time.

Jin starts yelling, asking the students to tap out and let him win. He tries to bribe them with pizza, and some of the boys tap out. However, Jin couldn't last more than 1 minute and 50 seconds during the plank game.

Following this, they compete for the maximum push-ups, where Jin tries to bribe the students with free pizza again if they let him win. However, Jin managed to do 40 push-ups before giving up and was one of the four last remaining participants in the game.

RUN JIN episode 2 ended with Jin treating the teenagers with pizzas and gift coupons. Episode 3 will be released on August 27, 2024, on BANGTANTV on YouTube.
