This new hair look of the Rockstar sensation came ahead of her much-awaited performance at the MTV Video Music Awards 2024.

Lisa from BLACKPINK has achieved a historic milestone by being the first soloist from the K-pop genre to perform at the VMAs. This year, the MTV Video Music Awards are slated to be held on September 12 at 5:30 am IST.

BLACKPINK's Lisa got the highest number of nominations among K-Pop artists at the 2024 MTV VMAwards on August 6, 2024. MTV released the list of nominees for various categories on their official social media platforms, and the rapper received four nods. These nominations are for Best K-pop, Best Editing, Best Art Direction, and Best Choreography. She received four nominations for her solo single Rockstar, which was released in 2024.

BLACKPINK's Lisa debuted her single Rockstar on June 27, 2024, and marked her soloist comeback after three years. This song was released by her own management company LLOUD and RCA Records. As of now, the singer’s Rockstar music video has garnered more than 167 million views on YouTube. For those who don’t know, her first solo track, LALISA, was released in September 2021.
