BTS’ Jungkook's Vinyl version of his first solo album, GOLDEN, sold out within hours of its pre-release. On October 2, BIGHIT MUSIC issued a surprise notice regarding the vinyl version release of Jungkook's GOLDEN, creating a huge buzz among fans online.
According to the notice, the pre-sale period of GOLDEN Vinyl went live on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 11 am KST at several e-commerce platforms, including Weverse Shop, Target, and many more.
BTS Fans noticed that the Vinyl was sold out on multiple platforms including Target, Music Korea, Music Plant, and more, within hours of the announcement and pre-sale period.

On October 2, BIGHIT MUSIC announced the release of BTS Jungkook's first solo album, GOLDEN, released on November 3, 2023, with the title track Standing Next to You. The agency stated that they would be releasing a Vinyl version of the album as a form of gratitude for the love it has received from fans.
“Released in 2023 and inspired by his “golden” moments, Jung Kook’s first solo album, GOLDEN captivated fans with its wide-ranging musical spectrum. As a token of appreciation for your love and support, we are thrilled to announce that GOLDEN will be available on vinyl.”
The Vinyl version includes a golden-colored Vinyl with a 20-page photobook, 2 photo cards, 2 postcards, 1 contents envelope, and 1 wax seal sticker. The rolling release of GOLDEN Vinyl differs from region to region, but it will begin on November 8, 2024, in South Korea.
The shipping to Japan will start from November 18, 2024, and the US and Europe shipping date is December 13, 2024.
