Jin enlightens readers with his thoughts in the GQ KOREA January 2025 issue

BTS’ Jin graced the cover of GQ Korea’s January 2025 issue, following his recent feature in GQ Japan. The star’s thoughtful insights and visuals captivated fans, as the magazine shared snippets of his interview and pictorial on January 17, 2025, a week after the original release.

In the interview, the star shared his perspective on being a "modern gentleman" and said,

"While not being bound by rules is certainly a cool thing, I feel that a true gentleman is someone who also possesses basic manners. This includes not just actions but also the unseen inner self. Since it’s best for everyone to get along and feel good together, I think it’s important to nurture both inner and outer beauty."

In this statement, Jin acknowledged that while breaking away from societal norms and rules can be perceived as cool and rebellious, true sophistication lies in adhering to basic manners. For him, being a gentleman was not just about outward actions but also about cultivating a kind and thoughtful inner self.

He emphasized that interactions should foster positivity and harmony, suggesting that a gentleman is someone who uplifts those around him. He highlighted the importance of balancing inner and outer beauty, encouraging individuals to work on their character and values, just as much as their appearance.

When asked about the kind of message he hopes to convey to fans in the future, he said,

"I hope people don’t lose their peace of mind. Even in the midst of a busy life, I hope they find ways to make themselves happy without losing who they are."

Fans found this sentiment reminiscent of his solo debut album Happy, which was described as "Jin's heartfelt invitation for fans to join him on his journey to discover happiness." The six-track album was released on November 15, 2024, by Big Hit Music.
