On November 6, 2024, BTS' RM deleted his Instagram profile picture, which he updated ahead of j-hope’s military discharge. Later, the singer also posted an Instagram story featuring Flying Lotus and Dawn Richards’ song Let Me Cook.

BTS' RM's latest Instagram activity was quickly noticed by his fans. As a result, they flooded the internet with their speculations about what the singer was preparing for his fans. Expressing this sentiment, one user on X wrote:

“OHHH SOMETHING IS COMING WE WON”

Many other responses from BTS' RM’s fans were seen online. While some speculated Namjoon and Jin’s "Namjin" collab, others stated that the singer is working on another "masterpiece."

“Hmmmmm.......thats suspicious that's weird,” a fan stated.
“Spoiler? Namjin Collab?” speculated another fan.
“Bro cooking another masterpiece,” expressed an admirer.
“i wont be surprised if he’s working on songs during his service, even about his feelings thoughts experiences he’s a musician,” remarked another user on X.

While one fan speculated that it was RM's way of emphasizing BTS' comeback postponement, another said that both j-hope and Namjoon may appear in any of Jin's upcoming songs.

“he may not be able to cook in the kitchen for the safety of the human race but he can cook in the studio,” an admirer wrote.
“I think this is the way where he wants to explain that bts comeback in 2026 let me wait,” stated a fan.
“i love how one side of the fandom is taking it as a spoiler for new music, while one side is taking it as a sign he's going through the five stages of grief, while another side is taking it as a regular tuesday of him going through a pfp crisis,” wrote an admirer.
“Let me cook. What if hobi amd joon both are ft artist in jin any songs I'm just so delulu to make myself happy,” commented another fan.

BTS' RM’s documentary Right People, Wrong Place releasing worldwide on December 5

On October 29, 2024, it was announced that BTS' RM's documentary, RM: Right People, Wrong Place, would premiere worldwide in cinemas on December 5, 2024. The film takes viewers behind the scenes of RM's experience while working on his second album, Right Place, Wrong Person.

The synopsis of the documentary on the movie’s exclusive website, rmrpwp.com, reads:

“A film that chronicles artist RM's eight-month production of his second solo album, “Right Place, Wrong Person,” while candidly recording the endless concerns of the person Kim Namjoon, and the things he immerses himself in and loves.”

For selected regions, the first ticket sale opened on November 6. Following this, the second ticket sale will be conducted on November 20. The movie will be available under limited screenings across the globe.

BTS' RM’s documentary premiered at the 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) Open Cinema screening on October 7, 2024.
